Sucker rods (normal length, shortened) and couplings to them are elements of the equipment of a sucker rod pumping unit for oil production. They are made from alloyed steel grades in accordance with the requirements of the Customers.

According to the technical specifications, the products meet the requirements for products of a high quality category in accordance with international standards.
Rod couplings are manufactured in accordance with the requirements of the Customer.
At the request of the Customer, the rods are equipped with centralizers installed on the rod body: scrapers – fixed centralizers, floating scrapers, TsVN centralizers and inter-sleeve centralizers. The above products are made of high-strength glass-filled polyamide on a complex injection molding machine.
Rod couplings are manufactured in the following versions and can be supplied separately:
1. Flat-to-flat couplings (normal diameter);
2. Standard non-flat couplings;
3. Non-flat couplings of reduced diameter;
4. Transition rod couplings;
5. Rod crossovers.
Couplings are divided into 3 classes:
N (T) – normalization
H (S) – hardening of HFC (high-frequency current)
C (SM) – wear-resistant coating of outer cylindrical surface.
High quality is ensured by using the most modern technologies:
• Defectoscopy of the original rolled stock;
• Automated heating system before forging, eliminating the overheating;
• Automated high-precision (+ /- 10 ° С) temperature control system for heat treatment of stamped blanks;
• Shot peening of the rod body.
At the Customer’s request rods equipped with centralizers of the following structures installed on the rod body: scratchalizer fixed, floating scrapers, CRP (centralizer rotating pump) centralizers and inner-coupling centralizers. The above products are made of high-strength glass-nylon composite on a complex injection molding machine.
